Cleaner

Contract Type:           Permanent

Working Pattern:       Term time – 11 hours per week

Salary:                             National Living Wage - £10.42 per hour (£11.44 from 1st April 2024)

The Headteacher and Trustees are seeking to appoint an experienced cleaner to join our school cleaning team as soon as possible.  This position will be 11 hours per week and contracted term time only on a permanent basis.  Additional paid hours during school holidays may be needed.  Duties will include general cleaning, vacuuming, polishing, dusting, mopping, and using an electric floor polisher.  Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques would be useful although training will be provided.  Contracted hours will be mainly after the school day, but other times may be requested.

Lunchtime Playworker

Contract Type:           Permanent

Working Pattern:       Term time – 7.83 hours per week

Advert End Date:       12pm – Friday 19th April 2024

Salary:                             Grade B SCP 2 - currently £22,737 pro rata (actual £4,069 per annum)

The Governors and Headteacher are looking to appoint a caring and friendly Lunchtime Play Worker. You will be responsible for supervising children across the school at lunchtime, leading active play in the playground / playing fields, and supporting in the dining hall when required ensuring the safety and wellbeing and good behaviour of all pupils.

Duties will include:

  • Supervision of pupils in the playground / playing fields and in or around the school
  • Leading games and structured active play in the playground
  • Reporting incidents and accidents
  • Supporting and implementing the school’s Behaviour Policy
  • Supervising children indoor in the event of bad weather
  • Supervision of pupils in the dining hall when required
  • Associated ancillary duties

You must have a good understanding of caring for children and the ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential.

PVH Childcare Assistant (Daycare setting)

Contract Type:           Permanent

Working Pattern:       Variable - up to 37 hours per week (rotas issued on a weekly basis)

Advert End Date:       12pm – Friday 26th April 2024

Salary:                            £11.44 per hour (from 1st April 2024).  A 13% top-up is applied for holiday plusage.

The Trustees and Headteacher are looking to appoint a new PVH Childcare Assistant to be part of the highly committed team within our extremely popular Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ day care nursery. The post is on a ‘permanent’ basis with ‘variable hours’ (PVH) and you will be allocated hours (up to 37 hours) on a weekly basis dependent on occupancy levels in the setting.

Essential Criteria

  • Experience of working within a Day Care setting
  • The ability to work flexibly between hours of 8am and 6pm (Variable hours)

We wish to appoint a new member of staff who is committed to providing high quality childcare to our local community within a purpose-built nursery. The post holder will work as part of a team to provide high quality care and learning experiences for children to develop within the nursery and work in partnership with parents/carers and the wider community.
